Paloma Faith's "Smoke and Mirrors"
Our Idea
As the video, we feel highlights feelings of separations on Paloma's side of the relationship, we decided to (like the official "Smoke and Mirrors" video), add a narrative about a failing relationship. The fast and the slow pace of the cuts would jump between shots of s couple rowing, breaking up and Shannon Sutton (who will be miming the soundtrack).
By showing the music video has a narrative, it keeps the audience interested, reinforces the themes we are trying to emphasize and furthermore, entices the target audience to think about the message the artist wanted to put across.
